A Place of Infinite Calm

Welcome to Ananta Home

A Hotel Run with a Warm Heart

We are twelve rooms on a quiet lane in Thamel. We do not have a spa or a rooftop infinity pool. What we have is a team that treats every guest like a returning friend, a breakfast that is made to order every morning, and a location that puts all of Kathmandu within walking distance. Sometimes that is exactly enough.

Ananta, in Sanskrit, means infinite. It is infinity of care that guides everything here — in the details of each room, in the unhurried quality of each morning, in staff who inhabit your stay alongside you rather than managing it from a distance.

Dining

Begin Every Morning at the Ananta Table

Each morning a complimentary breakfast is laid out for you — unhurried and freshly prepared. Eggs made to your liking, warm bread, seasonal fruit, and a pot of tea or coffee. Nothing elaborate. Just a quiet, nourishing start before the city calls.
